[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Nothing beats a nice glass of wine while kicking it back and listening to some live music-luckily for you, Ljubljana has quite a couple of different live music locations, crowded not only by the locals, but by the tourists as well. It goes without a say that late evening walks along side Ljubljanica river are breathtaking on their own, but keep reading on if you want even more out of them.
4. Sputnik
Located on the edge of Ljubljana, Sputnik offers a bit of everything-from breakfasts to different kinds of brunch, in the evenings it transforms into a chill place with good vibes. Upon visiting, you should take a taxi, since Sputnik is located almost an hour away from city center-however, don’t pick one from the street but always call them, since it’s MUCH chpeaer.
3. Čin-Čin
Right next to the biggest club in Slovenia, Cirkus. An amazing pre-drinking place, where everyone meets before going out for some drinks, usually ending their night in the club next door. While ‘Na zdravje!’ is technically the Slovene phrase for ‘Cheers!’, owing to the fact that Slovenes are a multilingual bunch (especially in Ljubljana and even more so amongst the younger generation), you’re almost as likely to hear the Italian ‘Cin cin!’ whilst hoisting your alcoholic beverage in the air. Located in the premises of the former tobacco factory, the cool industrial chic space has a ton of cool interior to offer. During the warmer months, the outdoor space is just as attractive and equally packed. Check their Facebook page for upcoming concerts, parties and other events.
2. Prulček Bar
Prulček is a cultural venue, only a walk away from Ljubljana’s city center, famous for its weekly musical program, free entrance and unique homelike atmosphere. Don’t be worried of it being overcrowded, as Prulček provides the best of small intimate club gigs with great atmosphere and audience always craving for more. It is known to be an amazing place with good sounds, beer garden and & lighting system with a dedicated stage-that way, you’re sure to not only hear, but also see the action!
1. Centralna Postaja
Probably one of the most popular venues in town, “Central Station” is the place crowded from dawn until dusk. With it’s modern interior and exterior, live music vibes in summer can be heard from all the way across the street. During the day, they also serve different kinds of food and drinks, making this location a hotspot for millenials to hang out. It’s very close to the main square, so do stop by to check it out when in Ljubljana.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
